A thin sheet arrived from the west before noon. The sun kept its outline but lost its sharp edge; lower fragments moved faster beneath it.
The last shower left a clean horizon and low silver clouds. Their darker bases softened as the evening light moved north.
Broken cumulus became smaller and farther apart. The wind eased first at ground level, while the upper layer continued east.
